After selecting **Schedule in future**, how you proceed from here depends on whether you want all gifts to be sent at the same time, or if you want each gift card sent at a different time.

## Option 1: All gifts in the batch sent at the same time

Continue with the rest of the batch setup. At the very last step, you will be prompted to select the date and time for delivery.

## Option 2: Different date and time for each gift

If you want each gift to be sent on a different date or time, ensure you select **Upload Excel File** when asked how you wish to specify the gift recipients.

Then for Upload type, select **Custom Messages or Values**.

On the next page you will need to upload an Excel file containing a row for each gift recipient. One of the columns must be a Schedule column with the date and time for delivery for each recipient.

## Funding for scheduled gifts

Payment for each scheduled gift is only deducted at the time of delivery. You will need to ensure sufficient funds are available in your account or in the relevant program at the time of the scheduled delivery.

Warning emails will be sent to you in the days prior to the scheduled time if there are currently insufficient funds.

If, at the time of delivery, there are insufficient funds available, the gift cards scheduled for that time will be cancelled. If that happens, the cancelled gifts cannot be restored or re-enabled. Instead you should add funds to your account or program and setup a new batch of gifts to be sent to the intended recipients.

## Editing future scheduled gifts

You can make changes to a scheduled gift via the Reports. 


1. Click into **Reports**, then **Gift Deliveries & Batches**. 
2. Select the program and then select the **Upcoming Scheduled** tab. 
3. Click into the required batch. Find the gift card to be edited and click on **Edit Details**. 
4. You can then change the date, time, value, recipient, message or gift reference for any gift.

## Cancelling future scheduled gifts

A gift card or batch of gift cards scheduled to be sent in the future can be cancelled at any time prior to the scheduled delivery time. 

There is no penalty or fee for cancelling gifts prior to the scheduled delivery time. Because funds are only deducted once a scheduled gift is sent, if you cancel a future scheduled gift or batch then no funds are returned to you since no funds were ever deducted.

To cancel gifts, click into **Reports**, then **Gift Deliveries & Batches**. Select the program and then select the **Upcoming Scheduled** tab. 

If you wish to cancel the entire batch, click on **Cancel Scheduled Delivery**.

If you wish to cancel just one gift card within the batch, open the batch report by clicking on the Batch ID. Then find the gift and click on **Cancel Gift**.
