# What does a gift status of "Valid (Clicked)" mean?

In GiftPay reports, a status of Valid (Clicked) confirms that:

* the gift is still valid and can be redeemed, and
* the gift card link has been clicked and opened by the recipient.

Valid (Clicked) is an assurance that your recipient has received and opened their gift. If they haven’t used it yet, it’s most likely because they are still deciding where and how they’d like to redeem it.
