# How do I remove a user or team member from my GiftPay account?

Only Master Admins can add or edit users on your GiftPay account. If you are not a Master Admin, please consult with the person that setup your account.

1. To edit a user, select **Settings** > **Manage Users**.
2. Find the user account that you wish to remove and click on their username.
3. Click to the **Advanced** tab.
4. You can choose to either disable their user account, or permanently delete it. 

   
   1. To **disable** the account, toggle the User Status to Disabled. A user with a status of disabled can be re-enabled if required in the future.
   2. Or to permanently **delete** the account, click on Delete User.
