# How do I allocate funds from Unallocated Balance to a program?

In the Account menu, go to [Allocate Funds](https://express.giftpay.com/Allocate.aspx). Enter the amount you wish to allocate into each program. You can allocate to just one program and leave the other program amounts blank if necessary.

Your user account must have the required permissions to allocate funds. If you can't see the Account or Allocate Funds option, then it means you do not have the relevant permissions. In this case you should contact one of the Master Administrators on your GiftPay account.

Funds will be allocated using deposit balance first and then bonus credit second.
