# Can I pay via international bank transfer or with an international credit card?

Each GiftPay account is associated with one country. Funds can only be deposited in that country's currency.

If you are paying by international credit card, you will be charged in the relevant currency set for your GiftPay account, and your credit card issuer or bank will handle the currency conversion into your home currency automatically. This is the easiest and fastest option for making an international payment. Please [contact GiftPay](https://express.giftpay.com/contactus.aspx) if you do not have the credit card option available on the [Deposit Funds](https://express.giftpay.com/deposit.aspx) page.

If you wish to pay by international bank transfer, please note the following:

1. Funds deposited can only be denominated in the currency set for your GiftPay account. If you have multiple GiftPay accounts in different countries, GiftPay is unable to transfer and convert these funds between currencies.
2. Your bank, intermediary banks, and our bank may charge international bank transfer fees. You are responsible for paying these fees. When instructing your bank to submit an international transfer you must request that all relevant bank fees be charged to you rather than to the beneficiary. Any fees we incur will be deducted from any amount received and only the amount net of fees will be credited to your account. In certain situations it may not be possible to determine the fees charged by our bank ahead of time. Please [contact GiftPay](https://express.giftpay.com/contactus.aspx) for further information.
3. International bank transfers may take longer than domestic bank transfers; therefore we encourage you to deposit funds well in advance of when they may be required.
